A “Whitepaper” is an authoritative marketing document that is used to present an idea to the general masses and prospective investors in a project or technology, while clearly defining the projects general position. It can be thought of as an authoritative report or guide intended to help its reader make an educated decision.
Every serious and committed project must produce a whitepaper in order to express the problem they are solving, define the market they are involved in, generate some excitement, and even help level the playing field between themselves and larger companies.
