Routing

Routing is a simple computer science concept that explains the selection of pathing for the transference of traffic. Whenever a message is sent from point A- to point K- it must find a way to jump between the two letters. Now it can go in order A- B- C-… K-. or It can go according to the quickest option with the least traffic A – J – K. In the first choice it has to cover 10 hops and each hop has a wait time between 1 – 100 milliseconds. In the later, the same message will have to cover 2 hops with each hop taking between 3-20 milliseconds. A good routing protocol will always choose the path of least resistance to guarantee quick transference of messages.
