Illiquid

Illiquid is a term used to refer to a state or an asset that is not easily convertible. Illiquidity is synonymous with insolvencies and low trading volumes, which in turn results in large financial losses due to large bid-ask spreads known as slippage.

Whenever an asset is considered illiquid then interest is considered to be low; the opposite of liquid.
