Chargeback

Chargeback is the technical jargon used to express the reversal of a transaction and return of money to a payer. Chargebacks are prompted by the payers issuing bank and happen in the event of a  resolution- of-dispute on a charge / orders.

Example:
Linda loses her debit card in a cab after a long night. Ron, the cab driver, finds the card, goes to the nearest Walmart and blows $800 on pay-pal gift cards. When Linda finds out about these charges the next morning, she calls the bank, reports the stolen misuse of the card and demands redemption. The payment has not yet processed and Lindas bank issues a chargeback. Linda Recieves her money back, Ron just used $750 + tx fees to buy Tron(TRX) and Walmart is stuck with a loss of -$800.
